Things That Annoys Me About Movies

Hello Again!

After watching a couple of movies over the Christmas, me and my sister got talking. We just started discussing movies that we had watched, enjoyed, etc. As we thought about it more, we started picking out the things that frustrated us about films and what we didn't like in them. There was a lot of tiny things that often times people overlook but, wow, once someone points them out they can get quite irritating.

1. The Boy and The Girl Kiss in the Rain.

Okay, so it seems romantic and once upon a time I would have wanted that to happen but come on guys, wheres the sense in it? Have you ever tried it? Maybe it's just me, but I see nothing romantic about raccoon eyes from run off mascara and  stringy wet hair that clings to your face. Plus, its Ireland. The novelty of rain has worn off by now.

2. Musicals

Personally, I love musicals. I wish my life could be a musical which is why I hate musicals. They always make you feel down about yourself afterwards. I'd love for people to randomly burst into a song that perfectly fits the mood but it just doesn't happen. It's a pity, but its true.

3. Sleeping People

The first thing that annoys me about sleeping people is that they always look so pleasant. Their perfectly curled hair just brushes the side of their face so gently , they don't have a single blemish on their rosie cheeks and their champagne colored lips form a delicate pout. Me on the other hand, I sleep like most normal people; face squished into the pillow, mouth half open, slightly dribbling, an arm and leg flung out of the bed, duvet kicked off. And if you would dare wake me, now that would cause trouble... I moan unintelligent nonsense about the time, it's always too early, I'm shockingly pale, my lips are chapped and my eyes bulging. I'm not exactly a pretty sight to see but it's realistic for most people. Normal people don't wake up with a smile on their face and sing songs about what a beautiful morning. That would just be an unfair demand to make on a person.

4. People still have the ability to save the day after being shot a dozen times

In a movie I saw recently, a man was shot in the stomach, blood gushing everywhere, yet, somehow, five minutes later he was able to wrestle a man onto the ground. Okay, so I have never been shot and I don't know how it feels but come on... Ive seen people rendered useless for five minutes in order to tend to a papercut. That sh*ts crazy!

Anyway, I think that's enough complaining for today! Comment/follow, there's more to come.
Love Always,
F.F.

The question of "Ex's"

Hey Guys!

Over the past few days, hanging out with the girlies, the question of ex's came up. Before you go off day dreaming about your prince charming (or Cinderella, whatever the case may be), I'm not talking about kisses. I hate to disappoint you but I'm talking about the ex-boyfriend/girlfriend! I know, dont get me started is what your thinking about, isnt it? Well just give me a chance...

I want to know what the deal is when it comes to hooking up with another persons ex. Ex's come in all different shapes and kinds. There's the "lets still be friends" type, the "awkward" ones, the "clingy" ones, then theres those who make you feel so insignificant, blah blah blah... (sorry you know how I love making lists!). Anyway, what would you think if someone you knew got with your ex? I know that is a situation that many people get really upset and angry about, but should we? I mean, why?

I suppose, I'm just ranting now, but I feel that some people are just too hung up on their ex especially girls. They still want to take some control over them and get really angry when their ex moves on. They need to get over themselves. The other person has moved on. No point dwelling on the past. With guys, these situations just seems to be easier. All my guy friends find it hilarious when two girls have a fight because "she went off with my ex!" I mean, how could she do that?... ugh sometimes I feel like screaming "get over it". Why are you trying to get in the way of other people's happiness? After all, in 5 years time these people could be married with a child on the way.  Nobody will no unless they give it a chance!

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is sometimes people need to back off. They are only making the situation worse. Why do people make things so complicated? Maybe I just like to see the black and white in everything. I like think two people break up it wasnt meant to be. Do I make sense?

2012 What a year!

Hey Guys!
I know its been ages since I posted last (sorry about that). Anyway, its a new year which we all know means new resolutions. And before you ask, yes my new years resolution was to use my blog more often.

Just a quick review of the last year:
So last year was a busy year for both me and my sister. It was quite a good year tho. Here's just a list of things that happened:
1. I completed the LC
 2. I visited London
3. I started college (and I absolutely love it!).
4. We survived the apocalypse ( or maybe we didn't and we somehow got transported into a parallel universe without knowing about it! In my opinion, the second option seems much more interesting).
 5. I realised alot less happened than I had thought so I'm just going to abandon my list (sorry about that).

I also started learning Spanish this year. Its loads of fun. Me encanto espanol ( I hope thats right, Im only a beginner, go easy on me!).

Anyway, I'm going to leave ye with this band BenevolenceOfficial. I advise all of you to check them out. They are fellow Irish cailini and absolutely Fantastic!!! All their songs are original and available on YouTube.

I also promise that this year will be just as dramatic as last year except this time I promise to keep ye up to date on it all. After all, who can resist a bit of gossip or drama. It makes life far more fun and exciting.
Yours Truly,
The Featherhead herself!

Ripped Jeans

Hey! Here are my ripped jeans. I made them myself from a pair of old black jeans. It was real simple. I paired them with my choral wedges and lace top. I need to get a  gold clutch to match for my next night out.
